Today Terry brought in his Thinking Thursday proposal. He used the images we drew and made an mini exhibition to reflect our Craft Victoria outing. Here are the snapshots!

Meanwhile had a event a few weeks ago going to vic craft to look at the exhibition based on how childhood affects our memory or thinking process. For a tie in with that event i created a small booklet that contains basic images or shape for user to doodle on it, today post is a spotlight on our studio designer Stephanie. Below are some images created by her before and after from the booklet.
Stephanie has recently also posted a tee design on threadless if you are looking forward to owning it vote for it to become a reality.

So remember those drawings I posted up a couple of weeks ago about Thinking Thursday? Well here is my design outcome for it!
Since the anime is based on avatars/virtual reality, thought it would be cool to make pixel avatars for the class. Some of their interpretations of the drawings/writings turned out weird so I thought I could try and incorporate it into the avatars. That way we can be represented in our own ‘virtual reality’. I was also thinking of animating each one. Here’s a rough sketch and story of each of our avatars. 
Just letting you know I wrote this when I was kinda sleepy so it’s kinda random lol. Will also be applying these avatars to our Honours presentation so WATCH OUT FOR IT 🙂

Meanwhile had a one week break, mid-semester break really. I feel that this break has not allowed me to regain my sleep/rest, but also catching up on some of the projects that Meanwhile is doing.
So remember Thinking Thursdays? Yup, I took the break to design my reflection piece. Well to recap, I brought the team to the Open Studios at Nicholas Building.
I truly understand the beauty of hand crafted jewellery pieces. They are exquisite and objects that are pretty to wear and look at. However, I realised that none of us bought anything maybe because they were a little too pricey? I personally fell that with the sum that they are charging, I could buy a Tiffany’s earrings/bracelet. But, they are beautifully hand crafted and designed, fresh from the designer’s studio(you might say)!
So with that in mind, I thought what better way to reflect on the day and design a catalog of my own jewellery range! Which of course would be nicely designed and AFFORDABLE! A catalog of an array of diamond jewelleries, so cheap and chic, that anyone would be able willing to pay for! =)
Having said that, below is a sneak preview of my paper inspired diamond range. Hope that all of you will enjoy looking at it.
